This book addresses the central theme of administrative concessions, their nature and importance for the development of countries, specifically their economies. It is intended to contribute to the knowledge of their legal regime and its implications. The first part is dedicated to the historical and doctrinal treatment, followed by the exploration and discussion of concrete aspects of some of the legal regimes of concessions, intending to help in the creation of bases for the conception of a true working instrument. In the final part, we address the issues related to administrative activity and the role of concessions in this important universe of the management of collective interests.
